“A Love Letter to Cabramatta” by Malcolm G.

A love letter to Cabramatta is made up of photos I’ve taken over the years during my bi-weekly food trips. These images are shot on film, digital and iPhone camera from my high school years to now. 

These are moments that encapsulate the feelings of familiarity and comfort; the colours, the noise, the smell of fried banana combined with the smell of fresh sea food radiating from the various stores nestled inside Cabramatta many crevices. 

This zine is my way of honouring a place in southwest Sydney build by Asian communities- a simple thank you to a place that has always held so much heart.
