  • Arts & Cultural Exchange 8 Victoria Road Parramatta, NSW, 2150 Australia (map)

SCHOOL OF ZINES KINDY IS now open! JOIN US FOR OUR FIRST EVER Drop-in Zine-making session for kids!

School of Zines Kindy (SoZ #14) is an informal drop-in session designed to inspire creative play, facilitate bonding between kids and parents, and foster community connection through the art of making zines. We’re inviting parents with creative kids aged 4 to 12 years old to bring the fam and join the fun!

SoZ Kindy will be held on Sunday 16th November at the Arts & Cultural Exchange Parramatta. Kids and parents can DROP-IN anytime between 11am to 4pm to make zines, connect with other families, meet local artists, and browse indie books & zines for KIDS! Drop-in and stay for as long or as short a time as you need.

School of Zines Kindy will be facilitated by SoZ creator Aphrodite (Illographo Press), supported by the SoZ team – Maricris & Lance. We’ll get hands on and explore storytelling through drawing, painting, origami (paper-folding), collage, print-making, and various kid-friendly zine-making and book-binding techniques.

Kindy Zine Kits containing child-safe art materials, resources, and inspiration will be provided. You and your little one will have everything you need to make a zine to take home and cherish for life! :)

Participating kids (4-12 years old) MUST BE accompanied by a parent or guardian.
